Full Job Description
- An opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and reliable personal assistant to support a female with a sensory impairment in her day - to - day life. This role involves assisting with household tasks, accessing the community, and supporting her in caring for her child. Main Duties:
- Assisting in maintaining a clean and habitable home environment. Accompanying and supporting access to leisure activities and the community. Helping with caring responsibilities for a child. Helping with meal planning and maintaining a healthy diet. Attending hospital and doctor's appointments as needed.
- Respectful of confidentiality and privacy
- Responsible, reliable and trustworthy
- Respectful of dignity and independence
- Good communication skills and social skills
- Punctual, reliable and flexible
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Understanding, adaptable and organised
- Understanding of healthy eating and nutrition
- Car owner with driving licence, use of own vehicle and business insurance (preferred but not essential) Please note that this role may be subject to a DBS check, your employer may also ask for you to supply references. You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsorships are available.
