Full Job Description
I am a lively, active female with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) who uses a manual wheelchair and I am looking for Friendly reliable Personal Assistant/Support Worker wanted to assist me in my home and in the community. You will support me to attend activities such as shopping, general outings, and appointments. The successful applicant will encourage and support me to get out and about in the community. You must be happy to drive me either in my automatic car Tasks also include assisting me with personal care and daily living tasks Duties include: Personal grooming Moving and handling Housekeeping Shopping Transportation Companionship Dressing / undressing Bathroom assistance
Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality Reliable with good timekeeping Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative Hygienic, tidy and well organised Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills Honest and cheerful Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard Must be comfortable with pets Able to always work to high standards of health & safety Like dogs and be confident with them Additional requirements Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
