You will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and impactful personal development sessions to students (primarily aged 16-19), helping them build essential life skills, confidence, and future career prospects.,

• Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality personal development lessons
• Support and mentor students both individually and in groups to maximise their potential
• Adapt teaching methods to support a diverse range of learners, including those with additional needs
• Promote student engagement in enrichment activities, student voice forums, and career development opportunities
• Track student progress and contribute to continuous improvement within the department
• Participate in student recruitment activities, open days, and enrolment sessions
  
  A degree or equivalent industry experience in a relevant field
• A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for student success and personal development
• Experience working in education, coaching, or mentoring roles
• Strong IT skills and ability to integrate modern technology into teaching
  
  The College specialises in providing a wide range of land-based courses in partnership with schools, for those in further education and higher education. The College degree courses are provided in association with the University of Greenwich.
The College's main site is at Plumpton; however, we also have centres at One Garden Brighton, Stanmer Park, and Snowdonia, North Wales. The range of courses cover all land-based provision including Adventure Education, Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Animal Management, Blacksmithing & Metalwork, Dog Grooming, Environmental Studies & Conservation, Equine Management, Fisheries & Aquatic Science, Floristry, Food Skills (Bakery and Butchery), Forestry & Arboriculture, Horticulture, Motor vehicle, Veterinary Nursing and Physiotherapy, and Wine & Viticulture.
