Full Job Description

This role will be based at the Leicester Royal Infirmary Hospital ; however the successful candidate may on occasion be required to work at other UHL sites. This is an interesting and varied role and involves supporting the service through daily activities within the pharmacy clinical trials department.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with good interpersonal skills to work in our University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Pharmacy department. Our dedicated team offer a stimulating and dynamic working environment. We require employees who will aspire to excellence, share our values and play a crucial role in our on-going achievements. You must possess excellent communication and organizational skills in order to provide an efficient and safe pharmacy service for patients and the running of the service in a busy environment. Applicants should have either worked or are working as a pharmacy dispenser and must holdthe QCF/ NVQ level 2 pharmacy services qualification or equivalent., You will be a team player, have a strong work ethic and sense of accountability whilst also supporting the team. You will need to have an eye for detail, use your own initiative and be able to work flexibly to tight deadlines in sometimes changing and challenging circumstances. In addition you will need to be confident in communicating over the phone and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in a busy clinical trials environment.
