The Developer is part of an agile development team building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of a PHP/MySQL development stack. As a Software Developer you will be involved in all areas of development from design to development to testing. Reporting to the PHP Software Development Manager the duties and responsibilities include: (PHP Software Development)

• Working with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications
• Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
• Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
• Working with teammates in the migration of older applications to current technologies
• Developing, refining, and tuning integrations between applications
• Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget
• Developing Software in the required LAMP stack
• Package and support deployment of releases
• Analysing and resolving technical and application problems
• Providing second-level support to business users
• Assisting in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates
  
  3 - 5 Years Developing experience in an agile environment
• Object oriented programming concepts
• Relational database design and querying concepts
• Up to date with the latest technologies within their development Stack
• Unit testing theory
• Agile development methodologies
• Client/server application development
