Full Job Description

The Physical Security Manager is responsible for leading, developing, implementing, and overseeing security program and measures to protect Jamf's global personnel, assets, and facilities. This role ensures compliance with security policies and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risks and respond to security incidents effectively. This person has a proven track record in physical security, facilities, relationship, and vendor management, procurement, landlord relations, and preventative maintenance. This role will report to the CISO and collaborate with the Enterprise Technology Office leadership team. What you can expect to do in this role:

  • Develop and implement physical security policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Manage security personnel, if applicable, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Coordinate emergency response plans and crisis management procedures.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, vendors, and internal departments to ensure security compliance.
  • Investigate security breaches, incidents, and threats, providing reports and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage security budgets and resource allocation.
  • Promote a security-conscious culture within the organization through training and awareness programs.
  • Orients themselves around the central questions of "Why are we doing this" and "How can we make this better"
  • Works closely with the Director of Workplace Services, Hospitality Managers, Community Managers daily to ensure that our sites are tip top, to identify opportunities for improvement, etc
  • Responds and takes into account Stakeholder feedback
  • Responsible for vetting vendors and assessing the ongoing quality of their work, exercising warrantees and guarantees on Jamf's behalf.

  • 5 years of relevant work experience; including physical security /facilities/space management of hotels, restaurants, spas, offices, etc(required)
  • Global physical security experience and associated training
  • Ability for at least 15% travel. (required)
  • Understanding of security principles
  • Thrives in a fast paced, outcome-based work environment
  • Able to make good decisions quickly and independently; able to critically evaluate information, ignoring the noise
  • Can do/self-starter attitude
  • Able to communicate complex technical terms in an easy to understand, non-technical manner
  • Excellent listener and team players; modeling a positive and inclusive workplace

  • Participation in ongoing security training is mandatory.
  • Established security protocols will be adhered to, sensitive data will be handled responsibly, and data protection practices are followed, including understanding relevant privacy regulations and reporting breaches.
