Full Job Description
As a Physiotheraptist you will work autonomously to provide specialised assessment and treatment for patients with complex musculoskeletal needs providing a diagnosis and developing and delivering an individualised treatment programme.
The successful candidate will share our values and have the energy, skills and enthusiasm to contribute to shaping how we support our patients., To formulate and deliver an individual physiotherapy treatment programme based on a sound knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options using clinical assessment, reasoning skills and knowledge of treatment skills including manual physiotherapy techniques, patient education, exercise classes, electrotherapy techniques and other alternative options.
Meeting with patients to assess what their physical challenges are and deciding on suitable treatment programmes
Monitoring the progress of patients and adjusting or changing treatments as needed
Liaising with other healthcare professionals, such as Occupational Therapists and General Practitioners and referring patients as needed.
To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
Maintain an up to date awareness of current policies
Participate fully in meetings and in an annual performance review to identify areas of professional development.
