Full Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Band 5 Physiotherapist to join our well established team. The post holder will be working as part of the Maximising Independence Service and closely with the other community services in Sutton Health and Care, acute hospital as well as the London Borough of Sutton and voluntary services in Sutton.Maximising Independence Service is therapy-led multidisciplinary service with pathways including Falls prevention, frailty and Domiciliary Physiotherapy.

The main duties of the job are to deliver physiotherapy services within the community services. There may be future opportunities for rotations with the acute hospital or other community teams. To provide a comprehensive and co-ordinated range of physiotherapy and preventative services which maintain or improve people's health, independence and quality of life.To consolidate and further develop skills and knowledge learned through the Physiotherapy course.To assess and implement treatment programmes as an autonomous practitioner, maintaining associated clinical records.To work unsupervised, reporting back and receiving guidance and teaching from the senior physiotherapist on a regular basis each week. To supervise and support rehabilitation assistants, assistant practitioners and students.
