Full Job Description
The successful applicant will work alongside the qualified physiotherapists supporting patients' rehabilitation. They will be expected to deliver delegated treatment programs that they will progress within set guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have strong team skills, an ability to communicate well with other colleagues and excellent motivational skills., You will need to demonstrate an interest in rehabilitation and must demonstrate excellent communication skills. It is important that you are a team player with a positive outlook, adaptable to change, showing enthusiasm and ability to learn and develop new skills.
The successful candidate will supervise exercise-based rehabilitation both for individuals and groups.
Flexibility is essential as you may also be required to support other physio teams depending on service priorities, this may include community working. Both posts may include aspects of personal care.
Your role will also include administrative tasks and contributing to the general running of the Physiotherapy Department.
Previous experience in both rehabilitation in a hospital setting and classwork would be advantageous.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
