- Supporting Health & Safety Managers in improving safety systems
- Enhancing lone working processes and system usage
- Assisting in implementing updated HAVS management procedures
- Contributing to employee health and well-being initiatives
- Coordinating occupational health surveillance and workplace assessments
- Conducting site visits to assess health hazards
- Supporting daily team logistics
A keen interest in health & safety and employee well-being - Strong communication skills and creativity
- Good IT skills and a willingness to learn new software
- A proactive approach to researching and improving safety processes
- Confidence using technology (tablets, laptops, etc.)
- Access to own transport due to the rural location of site Candidates must have lived in the UK for at least five years and pass the Baseline Personnel Security Standard, including a Basic Police Disclosure. Unspent convictions are considered case by case and may not prevent employment.

The Health and Safety Team within Landmarc has a national remit and responsibility for the ensuring legal compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the associated Regulations, this includes the identification and management of occupational health. Landmarc is currently looking for a student that is looking for a sandwich year placement, as part of their degree. This is a great opportunity for a student from a Health or Safety background to get involved with a wide range of projects. The projects will be mainly in health and safety management and process space, however there is some flexibility depending on the skills and aspirations of the successful candidate. This hands-on role offers valuable learning opportunities and practical experience in health and safety management. The successful placement student will have opportunities to focus on supporting multiple Safety First initiatives and with a focus on Occupational Health and Well-being., Landmarc provides the support services that enable Armed Forces from around the world to prepare for frontline military operations across the UK Defence Training Estate (DTE). This includes maintaining and delivering safe and sustainable infrastructure, managing and operating training areas and ranges and delivering multi-million pound projects to improve vital training assets.
