As a Plant Fitter, you will play a key role in ensuring the site runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs to plant machinery.
• Ensuring all plant and equipment are maintained to the highest standards to support production targets.
• Assisting with the supervision of sub-contractors where required.
• Accurately reporting work carried out, including CMMS records, timelines, and spare parts usage.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment and site performance.
• Leading and mentoring apprentices in their development.
• Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  
  We are looking for a time-served Plant Fitter with hands-on mechanical experience to ensure optimal plant performance, safety, and continuous improvement., Recognised time-served apprenticeship (ideally mechanical or mechatronics).
• Strong hands-on experience with industrial plant equipment.
• Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment, and mechanical fault-finding.
• Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and condition monitoring techniques.
• Experience in carrying out emergency repairs and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Understanding of lubrication practices and alignment of rotating assets.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a skilled maintenance team.
• IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Experience in welding, fabrication, and lifting operations is desirable but not essential.
