Full Job Description

As a result of an increasing portfolio of projects, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a PLC/SCADA Software Testing Engineer to join the team based out of our Westlakes Testing Facility.,

  • Plan and prioritise own work to ensure that functional project requirements are on scope, time and cost are met
  • Carry out testing of the PLC/SCADA code produced by others
  • Carry out commissioning activities at client site as required, to ensure successful engineering handover
  • Ensure that work complies with all necessary corporate, departmental and legislative requirements and procedures, to guarantee that the necessary consistency and quality of delivery is maintained
  • Recognise and address potential and actual cross-discipline issues and conflicts so that overall engineering input to a project is coherent
  • Develop own engineering experience and skills, moving towards the capability to move to a more senior role and towards professional qualification

    Degree qualified in appropriate discipline
  • PLC/SCADA knowledge
  • Substantial relevant experience in relevant project design work, is required to fully perform the role
  • Mobility and flexibility to work anywhere in home country
  • Can produce, check, and provide technical oversight of CE&I key deliverables documents / reports, calculations, schedules, drawings etc. to programme and appropriate quality
