An opportunity has arisen for a part time Admin Assistantto work withinour friendlyPodiatry Admin Office based at Brierley Hill Health and Social Care Centre.
Theadmin team provides an important and integral part of theday to dayrunning of the Podiatry Services through providing a telephone booking system and administrative support to the clinical teams who are based throughout the community.
You will be a part ofsmallteam ofadministrators,youwill be an adaptable and confident team member who alsopossessesexcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be resilient and enjoy working closely with a team in a demanding environment.
Effective communication skills are vital as you willon a daily basisdealing with telephone calls, booking,reschedulingandcancelling appointments,processing referrals,dealing withqueriesand passing on information to the PodiatryServices Admin & Clinical Team Leadsand the Clinical Teams via, email, telephone and in person.For an informal chat please ringRobert GrealyPodiatryAdmin Team Leadon or emailrobert.grealy@nhs.net
Main duties of the job
To provide an efficient,comprehensiveand confidential administrative service to the Community Podiatry Service and to provide an efficient telephone / reception service to patients and their relatives / carers,initiatingany necessary action.
To play a key role in contributing to theday to dayprovision of an efficient,effectiveand robust service ensuring that it is patientcentredwith a customer focused and personalized approach.
This role requires communication links across the whole healthcare sector and may involve conflict resolution.
The post holder will take an active part in the change management processes in the development of systems and services asappropriate.
