Full Job Description
The post-holder will be responsible for the post-16 looked after cohort, ensuring each young person has a scheduled termly personal education plan (PEP) meeting and ensuring the PEP is a robust, living and working document.
The post will raise the attainment and attendance of post-16 looked after children, working along-side further and higher education settings, social care and other professionals ensuring we have high aspirations for all our young people and preparing them for adulthood.
Educated to degree level within either social care or education and to have either QTS or to be a qualified careers advisor with a minimum of three years' experience working within post-16 provision., This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as per the person specification.

Grade: G scp 23 £33,366 to scp 27 £37,035 plus Essential Car User Allowance up to £963pa
Contract: Fixed Term Contract for 1 year maternity cover
Essential Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence
Essential Qualification: Degree level- linked to social care or education
