The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable., We are seeking a motivated and dynamic pharmacist to join our team in Neath Port Talbot Hospital.
This post will contribute to our comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to a range of medical, surgical and mental health areas. There is a focus on the frail elderly population, medicines optimisation and seamless working with our colleagues in primary care. We undertake a number of pharmacist led clinics and the post holder will also gain experience in these areas.
We welcome applications from pharmacists who have already gained registration, in any sector of practice. There will be an opportunity to undertake a recognised post-registration qualification or credential., As a post-registration pharmacist you will provide clinical pharmacy services to various specialities, on a rotational basis and participate in ward and dispensary services. This will allow the development of deeper knowledge, expertise, clinical and non-clinical skills under the direction of our experienced lead practitioners. Support and mentoring will be provided to the successful candidate by team members to ensure that you fulfil your potential.
