Full Job Description

You will have the opportunity to select from multiple post-doctoral projects, depending on your interests and expertise. Open areas of research include:

Developing new multiplex assays to study effects of variants on diverse molecular processes, such as gene regulation and cell type differentiation

Developing strategies to record complex molecular phenotypes to DNA

Scaling state-of-the-art genome editing technologies to produce data capable of training or refining computational models

Discovering new mechanisms underlying disease by mapping naturally occurring variants to phenotypes, leveraging human genomics databases such as Genomics England

What you will be doing…

As a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Crick, you will

You will bring…

PhD awarded or in the final stages of PhD submission

Expertise in functional genomics, biotechnology, computational biology, or a related area of research

Strong track record of scientific contribution, as evidenced by publications, preprints or submitted manuscripts

Passion for technology development

Expertise in molecular biology, including working with NGS libraries

Experience with cell culture

Experience with bioinformatics and/or analysis of high-throughput data

Details of the role: 4-year fixed term contract, full-time. Working pattern: Monday - Friday.

Salary: From £43,210 pa with benefits, subject to skills and experience, What will you receive?
