We are looking for a Practice Cleaner Team Leader to join our team. The working pattern for this role will be the following:

• 15 hours per week - Monday to Friday 6 am - 9 am.
In addition to cleaning duties, the Practice Cleaner Team Leader will play a vital role in supervising the Practice Cleaners to make sure standards are maintained and improved upon. This will involve arranging and delivering training, and supporting the Operations Manager in gathering information for and carrying out appraisals of the Practice Cleaning team. The Practice Cleaner team support the internal cleaning of the site according to the detailed work schedules and standards set out by the Practice, using the materials and equipment provided in the manner recommended by the manufacturers and suppliers. To adhere to health and safety regulations ensuring that all cleaning is carried out in a safe manner., The main duties of this role will be to assist the team with the high-quality cleanliness of this practice by ensuring the following tasks are carried out:
• To supervise the cleaning team on a daily basis to ensure all areas are cleaned according to the standards set out by the Practice.
• To monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and liaise with the reception team to reorder where necessary
• To ensure the efficient use of cleaning materials
• To monitor and co-ordinate equipment repairs/orders
• To ensure that all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
• To monitor time-keeping and attendance of cleaning staff through the use of a signing in book and the completion of timesheets
• To participate in the interview process for new staff
• To participate in probationary and appraisal reviews of staff
• To induct and provide continuous training for all team colleagues
• To ensure that staff adhere to Health & Safety, COSHH and Safeguarding regulations
• To ensure the cleaning tick sheets are correctly completed
• To carry out a cleaning audit at least once annually
• To liaise with the management team regularly to report any issues
