To run an efficient repeat prescribing service for our patients and to assist in the medication review and audit process.

To work with GPs and practice staff to ensure that all repeat prescriptions produce at the practice are ready within 2 working days of request including My Health Online requests

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person to join our team at Oak Tree Surgery. Preferably with previous prescribing clerk experience but not essential.

Oak Tree Surgery is an EMIS practice in modern building with ample parking and easy access to the M4, the Vale of Glamorgan Heritage Coast and the Brecon Beacons. We enjoy working closely with our neighboring practices as part of Pen Y Bont Health Limited

Shift pattern Monday- Friday 08:00-18:00pm 24 hours, fixed term (Maternity Cover 5 Months)

Our opening hours are 7.45 am until 6.30pm and staff will be expected to work a combination of shifts across the week and to cover staff holidays/absence at short notice. The prescribing team are a close-knit team who are expected to be flexible and cover other team members when they are on leave, this would potentially be covered as a full time role during times of leave/sickness.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities the post holder must be prepared to undertake such additional duties which may result in changing circumstances, but which may not of necessity change the general character or level of the responsibility of the post.

You may be required to work in other practices within PYB Health Ltd.
