Sunderland City Council is seeking an individual dedicated to providing exceptional customer service in a dynamic, high-performance environment focused on housing and homelessness.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting interviews, assessing situations, and identifying homelessness prevention options. You will work collaboratively with external partners, agencies, and other internal departments, with some tasks involving home visits.
Strong negotiation, persuasion, and influence skills are essential, as the primary objective is to help individuals remain in their current homes or relocate without needing temporary accommodation.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, committed to delivering outstanding customer service. You should be a team player, able to thrive in a fast-paced setting, and equipped to handle a variety of situations, including those that can be complex.
This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
