Full Job Description
Working with our Australia and New Zealand markets, this Pricing Analyst position supports and develops the pricing architecture proposals and setup in systems, covering both our Cruise Only and Fly and Cruise products. Using Microsoft Excel to an advanced intermediate level, this role is pivotal to reviewing cruise/itinerary performance during the selling phase and will support the local Marketing and Reservations teams to support with pricing queries and promotions. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manages set-up of Fly & Cruise and Cruise Only, strategic and tactical pricing
- Reviews cruise by cruise performance throughout the selling phase, recommending solutions on pricing and air travel commitments
- Liaises with HQ Revenue Management for regular pricing reviews on assigned areas of business
- Prepares setup forms and monitor loading through the whole value chain and for the whole process, until it is loaded in the system
- Tests and confirm correct functioning and loading of prices onto our booking engines
- Looks after bonus commission management including loading, checking, communicating and documenting
- Supports the local Reservations team for issues related to pricing and product
- Prioritises, together with the Marketing Team visibility of our products on communication materials/channels and regularly check visibility of products on our systems, particularly during the New Campaigns/Promo setup period
- Performs regular product and price benchmarks for the area of business and has full awareness of what is offered by competitors
Fluent in spoken and written English - Educated to degree level is preferrable, professional qualifications will also be considered
- Experience within a similar role in a commercial environment
- Excellent IT skills, with good command of MS Office suite and strong data manipulation abilities through Excel (Pivot, V Look Up, Index, Match functions)
- Ability to operate autonomously and establish key priorities for self and others
- Ability to maintain a positive and approachable attitude while working under pressure
- Availability to travel when required, mainly within the EU.
