Full Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and flexible occupational therapist with clinical leadership experience in assessment and rehabilitation of older people with acute medical illness and frailty and is able to offer advanced assessment and rehabilitation of patients who have more complex needs. Each clinical service has a Team Lead OT and Team Lead PT who are responsible for the day-to-day running of their clinical service. As part of your role, you will provide clinical leadership and management of the multidisciplinary therapy teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality patient centered care.
You will participate in the seven-day Emergency Department Admission Avoidance and Enhanced Weekend Rehabilitation and Discharge service on the medical and senior health wards enabling safe and timely discharge.
With strong links with the Southwest London AHP Faulty, there are opportunities to promote the occupational therapy profession and contribute to the development the occupational therapists of the future including apprenticeships and advanced clinical practitioner roles.
