Full Job Description
The Purpose of the role is to provide a site based resource within the NPD department to lead the process development process and be the bridge between the NPD, Technical and Operations functions at the Preston & Riverside site. Main duties include (but are not limited to):
- Project Management: Support with management of the process development workload using critical paths to meet customer and business requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with key stakeholders across the sites to communicate updates, resolve issues, and ensure alignment during the product development process.
- Feasibility Assessment: Support with site feasibility meetings to evaluate potential concerns, validate processes, and ensure product quality is maintained through scale-up.
- Factory Trials: Organize, coordinate, and lead factory trials to assess product feasibility, capture trial data, validate processes, and ensure all trial elements (e.g., raw materials, shelf life, freezing validation) are in place.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with planning teams to schedule trials, issue trial reports, and support review meetings to communicate findings effectively.
- Product Launch Support: Be present during product pre-productions and launches to ensure success, providing hands-on support and engaging with customers as required.
- Quality Assurance: Assist with creating and validating factory quality standards, customer quality assessment sheets, and artwork sign-off.
- Launch Process Ownership: Ensure the development process is rigorously followed, accurately documented, and effectively communicated to all stakeholders.

- Full UK/EU driving license required
- Competent in using Microsoft Office and other standard business software
