We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to lead a wide variety of procurements for goods, works and services and also identify opportunities to maximise value for the Council in it's expenditure with third party suppliers. The role will support procurement activity in range of services areas such as Environment and Waste, Net Zero, HR and Finance.

We are looking for a Procurement Lead with a minimum qualification of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Level 4 Diploma and who has three or more years of experience working in a local government (or similar) environment in a procurement role. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to lead complex procurements and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a "can do" attitude and be able to work collaboratively within a small team to support continuous service improvement.
