Full Job Description

  • To create & maintain EH&S master data for all substances within a SAP system including
  • authoring and revising Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) for speciality chemical products
  • To ensure data governance levels are maintained across the Group's ERP systems and
  • central SAP system.
  • To maintain supplier data regarding Poison Centre Notifications, and notify products in EU for MEL & MFR as required.
  • To manage the product master data within Sage 1000 liaising with colleagues within the Ul<
  • and European safety, supply chain, operations and commercial teams
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of Group Safety Data Sheets within a SAP
  • based EH&S System, checking the biocide / REACH status and giving approval for product use
  • To create / update / maintain label templates to ensure compliance with legislation
  • Involvement in the EMEA product creation process - checking supplier SDS/Specification,
  • maintaining data in the central system, ensuring regulatory compliance prior to giving approval.
  • Maintain data governance rules between SAP and Local Group Systems to ensure compliance.
  • To act as Multisol's Key User for SAP MDG -
  • o Multisol Group point of contact o Support of local users - product requesters if appointed o Training of new users o Ongoing communication of new/adapted guidelines/standards o Communication of local issues/requirements o Support implementation of new system enhancements
  • Responsible for the product master data for Multisol UK & Multisol Europe,
  • ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Degree in a chemical related subject or equivalent qualification/experience
  • Experience working in a Chemical / Pharmaceutical / Biological related Industry
  • Previous experience in Master Data Administration
  • Previous experience in Safety Data Sheet authoring
  • Knowledge of current chemical legislation e.g. CLP
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Desirable Requirements
  • Experience in a Business Systems support role
  • Affinity and interest in MDA Governance topics & IT systems
  • Knowledge of SAP

    This role required the successful candidate to be in the office Monday - Thursday with the option to work from home on Fridays.
