Full Job Description

As part of our Womenswear Production department, you'll be joining as our Product Developer to support our Senior Product Developer and Head of Production to support and implement the sourcing and product development strategy at Reiss. You will be maintaining strong supplier relationships, whilst liaising with our Design, Merchandising, Buying and Technical departments to manage the critical path and ensure that targets are met.,

  • Being responsible for product pricing and finding solutions to ensure that all target margins are achieved, whilst remaining with the design vision.
  • Assess the supplier base on a regular basis to highlight gaps, as well as following up with onboarding new suppliers and work on progression/exit plans with underperforming suppliers.
  • Negotiating delivery date at time of placing order in line with merchandising requirements.
  • Manage the category critical path and milestones, raising concerns to our Head of Production to ensure that product is signed off within the required lead time.
  • With the support of our Head of Production and Senior Product Developer, work with our Creative teams to develop new and exciting ranges within the Reiss Womenswear category.
  • Attend fit sessions and ensure that issues are identified and communicated to suppliers, coupled with monitoring changes and considering the effect on pricing and lead times.
  • Drive supplier selection and influence cost price negotiation. Ensure detailed costing breakdowns are received from suppliers and engineered to price point.
  • Collaborate with our Sustainability coordinator to drive the Reiss sustainability strategy, in addition to developing sustainable fabrics and trim options with our Fabric Coordinator.

    You have previous experience in Womenswear production within an office environment
