Full Job Description
In summary, this Product Owner will also be responsible for understanding technical requirements from a HLD viewpoint and then disseminating through LLD to the wider team. The 2024 projects are many and varied, including migrating legacy services from on-prem to Cloud. An experienced telecom software/backend services skilled individual would be ideal! What you'll do:
- Work with internal and external customers to analyse the needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals.
- Run upfront engagement phases of the project with architects, project managers and other stakeholders for project setup and planning.
- Readiness and ability to learn new products and networking technologies quickly without the focus of formalized training.
- Own the product roadmap and create a product road map based on the vision.
- Develop scope and define backlog items (epics/features/user stories) that guide the Agile software development team.
- Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.
- Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements.
- Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development.
- Create detailed user stories and epic with acceptance criteria and definition of done.
- Engage with suppliers and influence their roadmap to align with our requirements.
- Create business cases for improvements within the domains
- Actively engage with project managers and business stakeholders to understand project requirements, manage risks & issues and meet delivery timelines by working with Scrum Master / Technical Manager / Engineering Manager.
- Work in an Agile environment with all Scrum/Kanban rituals (JIRA).
- Communicating complex technical topics to a wide variety of audiences. Ability to interact with senior management for decision making.
- Support resource managers with inputs on resourcing as needed.
- Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process.

- Proven stakeholder engagement and reporting skills.
- Able to deal with ambiguity and pressure from delivery deadlines.
- Take a balanced view between commercial vs technical trade-off's.
- Knowledge of Linux, Python/GoLang/C/NodeJS, Docker, K8S, Orchestration, SQL and NoSQL.
- Significant knowledge of common data structures, Microservices architecture and algorithms.
- Knowledge of AD, DNS, LDAP, Central Authentication, NTP, Radius, DHCP, Firewall & Wifi.
- Strong in software engineering practices like DevOps, automated software testing, CI/CD pipelines and release management, etc.
- Strong technology background with knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Openstack), data centre operations, telecommunication, networks, SaaS, PaaS, Monitoring as a Service, client/server computing.
- Strong understanding of networks.
- Knowledge of clustering and load balancing technologies.
- Good understanding of TCP and UDP., Business Activities Business Analysis Business Process Release Management Risk Analysis Roadmap Stakeholder Communication Stakeholder Management Supplier Management DevOps Technical Skills Active Directory / LDAP
