Product Owner

In summary, this Product Owner will also be responsible for understanding technical requirements from a HLD viewpoint and then disseminating through LLD to the wider team. The 2024 projects are many and varied, including migrating legacy services from on-prem to Cloud. An experienced telecom software/backend services skilled individual would be ideal! What you'll do:

• Work with internal and external customers to analyse the needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals.
• Run upfront engagement phases of the project with architects, project managers and other stakeholders for project setup and planning.
• Readiness and ability to learn new products and networking technologies quickly without the focus of formalized training.
• Own the product roadmap and create a product road map based on the vision.
• Develop scope and define backlog items (epics/features/user stories) that guide the Agile software development team.
• Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.
• Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements.
• Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development.
• Create detailed user stories and epic with acceptance criteria and definition of done.
• Engage with suppliers and influence their roadmap to align with our requirements.
• Create business cases for improvements within the domains
• Actively engage with project managers and business stakeholders to understand project requirements, manage risks & issues and meet delivery timelines by working with Scrum Master / Technical Manager / Engineering Manager.
• Work in an Agile environment with all Scrum/Kanban rituals (JIRA).
• Communicating complex technical topics to a wide variety of audiences. Ability to interact with senior management for decision making.
• Support resource managers with inputs on resourcing as needed.
• Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process.

• Proven stakeholder engagement and reporting skills.
