Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home, or another remote location. As a minimum we're all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week. What you will be doing:
- To work with Production Planners to ensure production plans meet material requirement dates and to validate those plans with production.
- Highlighting system data integrity errors (e.g. incorrect bookings/hours) to accountable roles.
- Work with PL's to ensure production is in accordance with the plan and work to resolve issues to ensure best overall outcome for the business.
- Ensure key planning parameters and performance factors are being measured in real time to inform decision making.
- Ensures that the ERP system reflects status of WIP via ensuring correct booking discipline is adhered to.
- Responsible for ensuring all paperwork and documentation is complete prior to WIP leaving cell.
- To work with logistics to ensure all tooling is available and ready in cell.
- To commit the production plans for short term manufacturing execution including resource, capacity and machine availability.
- To operate to the relevant policies and procedures as defined and comply with RRMS.

- Experience of production planning & control is essential
- Has Manufacturing or P&C experience.
- Experience of Load and Capacity is desirable.
- Able to manage and make decisions under challenging circumstances.
- Able to take responsibility for their own development.
- Working knowledge of Manufacturing execution system is desirable.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Controller within the Submarines business to be the single point of contact for planning capacity across an identified group of work centres and to operate effective relationships with other roles that participate in planning and execution activity across the internal supply chain. The successful candidate will ensure that the agreed production plan meets customer requirements, balancing load and capacity and business priorities, so that the executive planning system can reflect a committed plan, which can be used to measure performance against.
