Production Manager

We're seeking an experienced Production Manager or Supervisor with a background in Chemical or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing for our Deeside site in North Wales. You'll support site supervisors, manage the supply chain, and ensure the production plan runs smoothly. • Enforce safe work systems and hold team members accountable for health and safety.
• Provide safe equipment and environment, ensuring proper use of PPE.
• Inform, train, and supervise employees for safe work practices.
• Strive for zero injuries by investigating incidents and implementing countermeasures.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and manage staff performance.
• Ensure efficient production operations and meet customer requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement and high morale.
• Support supervisors in managing their teams effectively.
• Deliver the production plan on time and maintain product quality.
• Collaborate with the Quality team to resolve incidents and improve processes.
• Collect and analyze performance data to enhance efficiency.
• Reduce waste and ensure accurate stock management.
• Maintain adequate staffing levels for optimal performance.
• Involve team members in improvement initiatives.
• Prepare reports and participate in meetings.
• Liaise with other departments for smooth operations.
