The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. Join Our Careers Service Focus Group - Your Voice Matters! We're running a paid focus group on Tuesday, 9th April (1pm - 3pm), and we want to hear from students about their experiences accessing career support. Your insights will directly help shape future initiatives to ensure all students can thrive. What We'd Love to Hear About:

  • Your experience accessing the Careers Service since joining Manchester Met.
  • What has worked well and what could be improved.
  • Any challenges you've faced in finding opportunities, placements, or graduate roles.
  • What's Involved?
  • A relaxed, friendly group discussion with fellow students
  • Sharing your thoughts on how the Careers Service can better support you
  • Your feedback will help create more inclusive and accessible career support for all students.
  • What is a focus group? A focus group provides the opportunity for you to share your thoughts and ideas on a particular topics, with no prior knowledge required. The focus group will be facilitated by a member of staff to ensure that everyone is heard and has the chance to participate, ensuring also that the opinion of others are respected. Who Can Take Part? We are particularly keen to hear from students who may have faced barriers to career opportunities, including those from underrepresented or diverse backgrounds. We believe a range of experiences will help us build better support for all students. Priority will be given to students who have completed the Student Experience & Engagement with the Careers and Employability Service survey. What's in It for You?

  • No prior experience needed-just a genuine interest in shaping career services for students
