Programme Manager - INT Reporting

Working as part of a matrix team across regional directorates, priorities for the post will include:

• Increasing Urgent Community Response, with alignment to Single Point of Access & Alternatives to Emergency Department deliverables
• Intermediate Care Framework priority actions
• Improving Community bed productivity and reducing Length of Stay
• Reducing delays to discharge from Intermediate Care beds
• Support and alignment to Better Care Fund programme priorities., NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met.   The team is currently seeking a highly motivated Programme Manager to support Integrated Care Systems in their development and integration of community urgent care pathways (including Urgent Community Response and Intermediate Care) with other parts of the urgent and emergency care pathway (e.g. acute and ambulance services) in order to improve quality, productivity and flow., An understanding of urgent and emergency care pathways across acute, community and primary care
• Understanding of the specific blockers within community to achieving flow
• Experience of having worked in a programme and project management environment
• An ability to develop strong working relationships across health and care.
• The ability to influence and matrix work across a complex stakeholder landscape

The South East Integrated Neighbourhood Development team was formed in 2024 to drive delivery of care close to home across the region. The team brings together a range of NHS England programmes focused on proactive, personalised, and preventative care in the community (and in partnership with local government and other community stakeholders who support health in the community). Priorities for the team include supporting our systems to drive local integration whilst transforming community and primary care services., The NHS England board have set out the top-level purpose for the new organisation to lead the NHS in England to deliver high-quality services for all, which will inform the detailed design work and we will achieve this purpose by:
