Full Job Description

  • An understanding of fixed line networks, underlying network technologies and the different enabling functions including technology, IT, Product management, fulfilment and operational management allied to a good understanding of high-level customer engagement would be an advantage
  • Strong project governance and appropriate use of control mechanisms to ensure excellent customer outcomes
  • Defines scope, business objectives, requirements and deliverables that stakeholders expect
  • Creates WBS Dictionary containing detailed deliverables, activity and scheduling information
  • Can confidently negotiate with stakeholders
  • Facilitates a Completion Review Meeting and leverage programme governance. whilst tracking benefits.

The portfolio spans across UK Networks with projects ranging from retiring legacy products, networks, platforms and sites to delivering next generation infrastructure, energy initiatives and state-of-the-art products along with expanding our network. Programmes and projects will be complex with variable risk associated to them and requires diligent stakeholder management to support our roll out of the UK's Best Network or in order to take Vodafone towards Tech2025. You'll be working with internal Networks' colleagues, wider teams within Vodafone and key suppliers in order to achieve the agreed outcome. All projects are to be delivered in accordance with agreed governance framework to agreed time, cost and quality and realise the expected benefits.
