Exciting opportunity at Thames Water! Seeking a Project Engineer to ensure our capital projects meet top standards. Drive engineering work on our clean and wastewater infrastructure (pipeline) projects. Develop project briefs, mitigate risks, and provide technical assurance. What you'll be doing as a Project Engineer
- Coordinate the development of Project Briefs based on the needs defined by Asset Management.
- Understand project risks and coordinate mitigation activities. Collect documents and information to inform contractor pricing and risk provision.
- Prepare and support technical reviews through the projects' Definition, De-Risking, and Detail Design phases.
- Conducted technical assurance checks and audits of contractor activities and outputs during the project's detailed design and construction phases.
This role will be based at Hampton Coal Wharf on a Hybrid basis. You will be required to be in the office and on-site 2-3 days a week, as the business requires.
Thirty-six hours a week, Monday to Friday.
Ideally, to be a driver and have access to a car to travel to sites.
Hold a Civil, ICA, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree or an equivalent Engineering HNC
- Understanding of project delivery in process industries
- Knowledge of Health and Safety in the Construction Industry
- Background in developing technical project solutions or Briefs in a specific discipline
- Fully proficient at using the appropriate Company IT systems and Office software, Disability Confident

Competitive salary between £40,000 to £50,000 per annum
