Project Engineer - (Southampton)

+ Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management.
+ Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
+ Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
+ Participating in/managing client/Contractor meetings and resolving client/engineering and project management issues.
+ Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems
+ Verification and checks of all the project deliverables.
+ To support the Senior PM in the delivery of the Operations, Special Projects and Marine Construction Projects

+ Engineering qualification/degree/HND in Marine / Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture
+ Hold a recognised Project Management qualification commensurate with the position (Desirable)
+ Computer literate with knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office Professional (including MS Project), also knowledge of bespoke design software i.e. AutoCAD, Mathcad, FEA
+ Eligibility for Security Clearance up to UK Secret
+ Must have right to live and work in the UK
