Morrison Water Services are recruiting for a Metering Project Manager to work on our Welsh Water contract across Wales. As our next Metering Project Manager, you'll be leading the delivery of all activities to cost, time, quality, and safety targets including customer performance. Ensure that the contract performs to actual cost & revenue vs forecast cost using all commercial reports developed. Responsibility for ensuring reinstatement works is of high quality and that poor performance is accurately managed. Responsible for maintaining healthy and professional relationships with clients. Ensure that all plant and fleet is fully productive. Ensuring SHEQ and Customer is at the heart of everything undertaken. Responsible for the performance and behaviours of all teams. Manage the productivity and utilisation of Direct Labour & sub-contractors. You will be required to work on Standby for Weekend & Out of Hours requirements. Ensure that where possible all sites are cleared in line with the noticing period & the TMA. Carrying out audits as per SOR's or client requirements. Identifying and assists the co-ordination of the resource to ensure effective delivery. Carrying out regular site visits to maximise effective delivery as determined by the short-term programme and safety compliance. Support with implementation of a defect coring programme. You will be delivering a high performing and sustainable workforce is to successfully support our clients. To excel in this role, you'll need to be a proactive leader who places safety as a top priority. This role requires an individual who is committed to ensuring the safety of all team members and clients. Working with a team of dedicated professionals, you'll be focused on delivering projects efficiently while maintaining a strong safety culture. • IOSH safety certificate
• A current valid driving licence
• Supervisors' street work card
• Resource Utilisation & Control
• A working knowledge of disciplinary and capability procedures
• A working knowledge of accident investigation procedure
• A good understanding of operational activities and trade skill
• Financial awareness and ability to work to budgets.
• Good understanding, supported by experience, of how a water network operates.
• Proven ability to deliver improvements to productivity, safety, and customer focus in a utility environment.
• Experience in supporting the delivery of change initiatives, ideally in a unionised workforce.
• Confident, self-motivated, and capable of operating independently without regular oversight.
