Full Job Description
As a Project Manager - Regional Building Surveyor at LiveWest, you will coordinate and deliver a range of reactive project works across multiple properties in our portfolio. Your technical expertise will enable you to investigate, scope, procure, and deliver a wide range of maintenance works. You will commission detailed information from various sources, including internal and external surveys, to define the best approach., Develop Specifications and Work Packages: Maximise value for money and budgetary allocation by developing requirements into business cases with clear scope, design, and expected outcomes.
- Ensure Safety Compliance: Conduct works safely and in line with current legislative requirements, including CDM, Asbestos, and Gas safety, while promoting a positive safety culture.
- Build Relationships: Communicate and build trust-based relationships with customers and contractors, ensuring strong commercial awareness and delivery to agreed quality and financial standards.
- Project Management: Take a methodical, high-quality approach to project management and on-site delivery, ensuring project outcomes align with the strategic vision of the organization.
- Contract Administration: Act as an experienced Joint Contract Tribunal (JCT) administrator, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.

Extensive experience with UK construction practices and regulations.
- Sound knowledge of current legislation affecting housing/construction and health and safety.
- Proven track record in procurement and project management.
- Proficiency in using digital databases, data collection, and verification.
- Excellent communication skills, generating confidence and respect with diverse audiences.
- In-depth knowledge of UK construction health and safety law and best practices.
- Experience in a similar function within a local or public authority, or private practice.
- Ability to make evidence-based decisions using knowledge, research, and data.
- Strong customer service skills, providing an excellent customer experience.
- Methodical approach to problem-solving, ensuring resolution., Minimum level 4 qualification in the building field.
- Relevant health and safety qualification - for example IOSH/NEBOSH.
- Professional membership of or working towards membership of RICS/CIH/ CIOB or similar.
- Desirable: Environment/ H&S Sector., Disability Confident
