Full Job Description

To work alongside the Supported Employment Service Team Manager, Programme Managers and other staff with the design, development, commissioning and management of projects, initiatives within the Connect to Work Programme which support young people and adults with mental health and health barriers to secure or maintain employment. To provide project and contract management support on a range of Warwickshire Connect to Work projects, programmes, initiatives and campaigns. To manage individual Connect to Work projects, initiatives, and campaigns.

  • Degree or other equivalent qualification, or minimum of one year's work experience
  • Project management skills including planning and an attention to detail.
  • Financial management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills including an ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good communication skills both in person and writing
  • Highly developed IT skills.
  • An ability to collect, analyse and understand data.
  • An ability to work on own initiative including planning and organising work with minimum supervision., The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.

The programme will work to both SEQF and IPS models and support hundreds of Warwickshire residents to gain paid and sustainable employment. The role of Project Officer is one of the first in a series of roles designed to support and establish the new service, ahead of its launch in June 2025.
