As part of our Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC), we provide vital assistance to individuals navigating the asylum process, ensuring they have safe, secure, and high-quality accommodation. With rapid expansion underway, we're on the lookout for a property professional who thrives on building relationships, negotiating deals, and securing properties to help us deliver on this crucial mission.
You will identify and procure properties that meet our contract requirements by working with estate agents, leveraging media, and engaging directly with landlords. Building strong relationships with landlords, agents, and investors will be key to promoting the Serco Lease and maintaining our high property standards.
As part of your role, you will conduct property inspections, manage the acquisition pipeline, and ensure that all properties meet the necessary standards before occupation. You will play a vital role in expanding the reach of our contract, helping more people access quality housing.
Covering a large geographical area, you will need excellent time management, diary planning, and the ability to work independently. You will also work towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets to ensure property acquisition goals are met efficiently and effectively.
Property Expertise - A background in lettings, property management, estate agency. Construction, or building services experince will also be considered.

Relationship Builder - Strong communication skills with the ability to develop lasting partnerships with landlords and property providers.

Market Knowledge - A deep understanding of the private rental sector and a strategic mindset to identify new opportunities.

Organisational Skills - Ability to manage multiple properties, deadlines, and negotiations effectively.

Flexibility - A valid UK driver's licence with the ability to travel across the West Midlands and East of England.

Target-Driven Mindset - The motivation to work towards KPIs and performance targets to meet contract needs.
Due to the specific needs of the business, candidates must be residing within the East Midlands to be considered for this role.
