Full Job Description
- To develop, and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders, clients, partners, and subcontractors / suppliers.
- Support organic growth via innovative design solutions
- Fully contribute to the delivery of the team KPIs and objectives, System design and costings of large scale solutions
- Bid responsibility throughout the sales cycle.
- Preparation of technical documentation and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications.
- Identification and selection of equipment which meets specification.
- Communicate with supply chain on costings.
- Presentation of bid content and rationale to internal and external stakeholders
Experience of the design of Integrated Security Systems (e.g. CCTV, Intruder and Access Control Networks) is a necessity. - Full UK driving license
- Prior experience of the Security industry and compliance standards is required.
- Competence in the operation of all relevant Information Technology solutions and applications, including (but not limited to) Microsoft Office (Excel, Word,) This Proposals Engineer opportunity would suit a Proposals Engineer, Bid Engineer or Design Engineer who live with commutable distance of Blackburn including, Manchester, Burnley, Bury, Bolton, Preston, Clitheroe, Blackpool, Huddersfield, Halifax, Warrington, Wigan, Liverpool

We're looking to add a Proposals Engineer to our team here at Chubb, on a hybrid basis, based out of our Blackburn HQ. This is a key role, working closely with our new business team ensuring all designs and bids on multimillion pound projects are produced to a high quality and within the required budget and timescale. Chubb Fire & Security have been protecting people and assets worldwide for more than 200 years. Providing essential and innovative security systems, equipment and services, from digital CCTV surveillance and intruder alarms to fire detection and suppression systems. SALARY: Upto 45K for the right candidate
