Full Job Description

The primary function of the post will be to work collaboratively with colleagues across services dealing with a wide range of criminal cases prosecuted for the benefit of the residents of the borough. In addition, the role involves advising members at licensing committee hearings and defending appeals issued against those decisions., You will have knowledge of criminal law and practice and experience in the matters referred above as well as being a highly motivated, collaborative worker who is adaptable and able to prioritise tasks on a daily basis.

You will be working within the prosecution litigation team within the legal services department responsible for dealing with a varied caseload of criminal prosecutions and licensing matters.
