Full Job Description

Our Social Science Department are excited to announce that we are looking for a team member to join as an PTHP A Level Lecturer in Psychology. We are seeking a passionate and experienced candidate to join our dedicated team. Join us in shaping the future of our students and make a lasting impact with Macclesfield College! The Role £24.59 per hour when teaching & parents evenings, £17.17 assessing / IQA Rate, £15.11 meeting rate, £12.00 per hour for all admin and training & enrolment.

  • This role is suited to highly motivated professionals who will deliver inspiring teaching and learning.
  • The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for the set up and delivery of the new A Level Social Sciences Pathway comprising of Psychology, Sociology & Criminology across the College
  • Main Duties for this role include
  • To plan teaching, learning and assessment for college programmes using the appropriate college format to ensure effective learning.
  • To deliver teaching and learning to at least a consistently good or outstanding standard to achieve high success rates.
  • To assess accurately learners, work both formatively and summatively against appropriate awarding body criteria to ensure learners achieve their qualifications.
  • To communicate effectively with all staff across the College and with external stakeholders.
