Are you a nurse who would like to work with children and families promoting health and wellness in the community setting?
Within the Rhondda Cynon Taff (RCT) area of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) we are looking to recruit a Public Health Community Band 5 Nurse in health visiting. This role provides an exciting opportunity to experience being part of a health visiting team in the delivery of an integrated Health visiting model (HCWP/CWTCH programme). This opportunity will also form part of a 'recruit to train' strategy which will offer an insight into health visiting for those interested in undertaking Specialist Community Public Health Nurse training.
With guidance, training and support the post holder will deliver the Healthy Child Wales programme/ CWTCH Programme (RCT) with the Health Visiting team. You will undertake duties which are delegated by the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor) using a progressive universal model of service delivery dependent on assessed needs. You will have the opportunity to develop skills in public health and multi-agency working to support the health needs of children and families. Whilst working within CTM you will be supported by our Health Visiting Team, Practice Development Health Visitor and CNS Safeguarding.

Main duties of the job
