Full Job Description

The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager The responsibilities will include:

  • Referral & Assessment Team
  • Undertaking child and family assessments
  • Carrying out child protection enquiries
  • Duty Tasks
  • Direct work with children and young people
  • Chairing Child in Need and Core Group Meetings
  • Mental Health and Emotional wellbeing support for all workers including interim
  • Hybrid working
  • 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
  • 3 month Temporary Contract at least
  • Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

    Qualified Social Worker, Achieving for Children - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team, Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team, The successful candidate will need to hold a Social Work Degree or equivalent must be registered with Social Work England, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
