Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit someone who can work within our Risk & Assurance team as a Quality Assurance Assistant to support the co-ordination & delivery of internal audit reviews on documented procedures within our management systems. You will ensure these are operating effectively and efficiently in delivering operational needs across Plymouth Community Homes, whilst supporting the retention of existing organisational accreditations and progressing the delivery of new ones. You will be required to follow up on audit actions and recommendations in the interest of supporting continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.

Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who:

Is able to carry out a range of administrative tasks to support the day to day functionality of the Quality Assurance function such as collation of information for inclusion in management and committee reporting.
Can draft audit reports whilst supporting the development and capturing of new procedures when required.
You will become an advocate for quality assurance at PCH, building your knowledge and awareness of strategies, policies and procedures within departments to offer oversight of potential opportunities to look through the customer lens.
You may already be an established certified auditor with an understanding of the ISO 9001 standard for Quality Management or have proven experience of working in an assurance based environment and looking for a new challenge
seeking a change and are prepared to work towards a qualification in this field to support your professional development.
