Full Job Description

Sodexo has over 40 years of experience supporting the defence forces of the UK, the US and France. We support individuals, the community and the environment on base, working with military leaders to enhance the physical and mental wellbeing of personnel across all military services. Our PFI contract provides 128 different professional services on all aspects of Property Management for our client. Based at Merville Barracks in Colchester we are recruiting for a Quality and Compliance Lead (Facilities Management) that will be a self-starter and ensure standards of service are met across the site. This is a busy and varied role where you will be working with the HSEQ Manager to manage internal, external and contractual audits as well as closing out of improvements within deadlines. You will be completing tasks using the HSEQ systems to a highly accurate standard. You will also support the HSEQ Manager on wider quality projects. Through this, you will promote an ethos of continuous improvement throughout the business and identify areas for improvement through analysis of audits and customer feedback. You will ideally have an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification along with a Level 2 qualification in food safety and Level 2 IOSHH qualification in Health and Safety as well as a strong background in quality, facilities management and internal auditing. You will also need to be proactive, meticulous and strategy-focused, and have excellent administration and IT skills, particularly using Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
