Full Job Description
We're looking for a Quality Controller to join our Co-op. In this role you'll drive quality improvement throughout our chilled Own Brand products. When you come across a product that's not up to scratch, you'll communicate clearly with our internal teams and suppliers and look to resolve issues quickly to maintain great quality for our customers. You'll need to have the confidence to challenge and make sure we always provide the best products for our customers and member-owners. What you'll do
- Make sure all Co-op Own Brand products comply with our standards and specifications
- Look for ways to continuously improve to enhance quality performance
- Build reports documenting product issues and communicate this to suppliers and internal teams including Product Development, Technical and Buying
- Collaborate and clearly communicate with a wide range of suppliers and our internal teams
- Monitor complaints and feedback on product quality standards, and report on any trends
Experience in a Quality Controller role either in food retail or manufacturing - Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge where necessary
- Good IT skills, with the ability to use Microsoft Excel and managing a variety of different systems
- A keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
