Quality Standards Coordinator

The Quality Standards Coordinator will support the Food safety and quality improvement and right first-time agenda so that products are legally and safely manufactured in compliance with customer and internal Company specifications and standards.

• To facilitate the launch of new customers, products, and processes into manufacturing
• Review of current Micro processes and practices to drive continual laboratory improvement.
• Investigate microbial Out Of specification results determining the root cause corrective action necessary to prevent reoccurrence.
• Cover Laboratory technicians when needed (sickness, holidays)
• Complete GMP and Hygiene audits to required schedule
• Coordinate cleaning schedules with cleaning contractors
• Assist in the investigation of consumer complaints determining root cause andcorrective action necessary to prevent reoccurrence
• Participate in the internal audit schedule completing audits as necessary todemonstrate compliance with company, customer, and industry standards
• Where applicable take samples in accordance site quality plan ensuring the samples are analysed in a timely manner and results reported / escalated as appropriate.
• Complete traceability exercises to agreed plan.
• Completion of operational QC compliance audits, reporting of non-conformances and ensuring corrective action is in place and monitored to prevent reoccurrence.
• Assist to new starters and provide refresher training verification of new equipmentor micro tests processes, ensure that internal and external customer expectationsare reviewed.
• Actively participate in the implementation of site quality improvement projects,where necessary providing support to train operation teams and monitor projecteffectiveness.
• To be a member of the HACCP team ensuring micro process, equipment are takeninto risk assessments
  
  Organized and persistent, able to work alone but able to achieve the desired results through influencing people.
• Demonstrable team player
• Degree in a Science or Food Technology or relevant industry experience in an influential technical/quality role.
• Demonstrable operational experience, together with significant exposure, gained ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.
• Fully conversant with modern manufacturing methodologies.
• Innovative and entrepreneurial thinker, interested in food and drink and improving quality systems.
