Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to work with purpose and flexibility? Whether it's a site visit to assess costs, fine-tuning budgets from home, or catching up with the team at one of our offices, this role offers variety and autonomy. You'll join our Commercial Team in Repairs and Maintenance, where your expertise will help us deliver cost-effective, high-quality repairs for our customers. What you'll do

• Collaborate with trades, managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective repairs and maintenance.
• Visit sites to measure and value works, negotiate costs, and ensure budgets stay on track.
• Analyse contractor performance, manage relationships, and uphold commercial excellence.
• Use work-order systems to ensure accurate scheduling and data recording.
• Monitor budgets and ensure financial coding is spot-on every month.
• Act as a proactive partner, ensuring customer needs are central to everything we do., Monday to Friday, flexible working hours. We're also open to discussing a work pattern with you that is close to full time.
• You'll manage your own diary.
• This is a hybrid role based from one of our offices Newcastle or Durham (2 days per week), from home
• You'll initially look after colleagues and stakeholders in the south and will ravel to meet with them on average 1 day per month.

• A Quantity Surveying qualification and a sharp commercial mind.
• Knowledge of procurement rules, housing repairs, and relevant legislation.
• Excellent organisation, time management, and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Confidence to challenge and support colleagues and contractors in delivering value.
• A current driving licence and access to a vehicle (we'll cover mileage costs).
• Enthusiasm for learning-we'll support your RICS accreditation and professional growth.
