Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced individual, to provide administrative support for Radiation services and support the efficient day to day running primarily of the radiology department. The clerical co-ordinator is responsible for all receptionist duties, including scheduling of patient appointments and often being the first point of contact for visitors., The successful candidate will work closely with our Radiographers, Radiologists and other clinical and clerical staff in the provision of general clerical, administrative and secretarial duties, largely including data input for Radiology requests into RadIS departmental booking system. Knowledge of a wide range of administrative policies and procedures and advance use of various IT packages and non-routine problem solving associated with patient appointments and associated treatment schedule is essential.
The successful candidate will have extensive administrative/secretarial experience, excellent IT, communication skills and will be amenable to learning new systems of work.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
