Does working for Amazon's Grocery business in the UK excite you? Do you want to be part of one of Amazon's fastest growing businesses?, In this role, you will be expected to lead our Fresh ultra-fast grocery delivery channel, managing the full P&L for our existing network while scoping additional opportunities for growth. You are responsible for ensuring we meet our top and bottom line targets, deepening our relationships with aggregators, and driving results by demonstrating competency with business analytics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Store Operations, Finance, Marketing, Selection, Pricing, and PMs/Tech, to achieve sustainable growth.
UK Fresh is looking for a goal-oriented, highly entrepreneurial and experienced Channel Manager to join our exciting and fast-paced team, with responsibility for developing and managing our UK Fresh ultra-fast grocery (rapid) delivery channel. The channel is the fastest growing in the grocery market segment, and this is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in our UK Fresh strategy as you focus on defining business growth and process improvement strategies. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly analytical, resourceful, and tech interested. You should have a passion for delivering the best customer experience by improving our selection, price, and convenience while managing a full P&L. You must be skilled in cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to identify and influence key stakeholders internally, as well as externally. You'll have exceptional Deep Dive skills, allowing you to influence those stakeholders with a data driven approach. You will develop and execute strategies to grow our rapid delivery business, and should be eager to innovate and solve difficult problems, driving projects end-to-end and presenting progress to senior leadership on a regular basis. The role reports to the UK Category Leader of Category Excellence.,
- Bachelor Degree.
- Experience in Buying/Planning or equivalent experience such as Finance or Operations.
- Proficiency with Excel and data analysis with demonstrated ability to dive in and quickly understand root cause and identify scalable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels.
- Must possess excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common-sense approach to getting things done.
- High attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
- Highly innovative, flexible and self-directed., Experience in e-commerce or retail
