Full Job Description

As a Reactive Maintenance Technician, you will use integrated work management systems and will plan, prepare and carry out building services technical work for all University buildings, interrogating building services systems. You will manage Mechanical and Electrical approved contractors, engaging through procurement and provide day-to-day management ensuring that maintenance work is carried out to the required standard.

You will have a relevant trade qualification, knowledge of Health and Safety within the construction and/or maintenance industry, alongside good organisation skills to manage external contractors. You will also have the ability to work to deadlines, with a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail. We will provide a supportive environment for you to train and develop your skills.

The salary for this role would be comparable to an hourly rate between £16.10 and £20.17, dependant on previous skills and experience. This is paid as an annual salary based on 37.5 hours per week. About you
